There are a few scheduling errors that I’m working on fixing. They don’t affect any of the matches coming in the next few weeks, and I’ll definitely have the issue taken care of before we get to the matches it effects. This post is just a heads up that I’m aware of the errors and working on correcting them.

After some tinkering, I am now able to get the schedules up on the site for the 2013-2014 season. Please double check these schedules against the ones you were given at the opening day event yesterday to make sure they are correct, as I had to hand code the html page that contains the schedule to make it work. As such, there may be errors.
The real test of the website’s functionality will be once I input this first week’s scores and see if everything works.
As stated in the previous post, due to the fact that the score keeping software our league uses is designed for 2 rounds, and this season we have 3 rounds on Tuesday and 4 on Wednesday (meaning each team plays each other team 3 and 4 times respectively instead of 2 as usually happens) it has been tricky to get everything working properly, however, I think I’ve got it, and once I’m able to input scores, I should know for sure.

Here you’ll find info on what’s been updated for the new season. If it isn’t listed here as having been updated, it is either blank or contains last year’s info.
It might be a week or so before the schedule and first week’s scores are uploaded to the website. Because this season requires 3 rounds of play and 4 rounds of play for Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, and the software we use to input scores is only designed to handle 2 rounds of play, a work around must be conceived, which might cause a delay in the initial posting of stats and other info.
The Fines, Fees, and Payouts link has not changed, but it is a good idea to give it a read to remind yourselves what fees are owed and when they should be paid.
The Captain’s List has been updated for the new season. If you are on that list and you are not the captain of your team, please email mike at djmichaelbasic@gmail.com and let me know who your team’s captain is, as well as their phone number (cell preferred) and email address.
There have been no rule changes so the Rules link is still valid.
The Grievance Committee page has been updated.
The 2012 Season has been moved into the archives, which can be found by following the Past Seasons link.
The Payout Scale link has been updated to include a payout scale for 7 teams.
There are no new Locations to add so this link is still valid.
The Bullpen link has now been updated. If you know anyone who would like to be added to the list to sub on Tuesday, Wednesday, or both, please have them email me with their name and phone number (djmichaelbasic@gmail.com.)
The opening day party will be held at The Speakeasy on Sunday, September 22 at 2pm and the first nights of play are Tuesday the 24th and Wednesday the 25th. Schedules will be made available Sunday.
